Jade Thornton is a 25 year old singer-songwriter from South-West London. She first picked up a guitar over 10 years ago and has been songwriting ever since, placing top 10 in the ‘Song Academy’s Young Songwriter’ competition with ‘Only Me’, in 2017. This featured as a single for her debut studio EP 'Pages', released in 2020. In 2021, she released two cover songs which were featured on ITV's Love Island, which went on to amass over 50,000 streams. After working various retail jobs, Jade quit to pursue music full time in 2022. You can find her frequently busking on the Southbank under the London Eye and gigging across the UK and abroad, taking her music to Amsterdam, Norway and, in October 2022, Gwangju, South Korea. Here she represented the UK, competing in the inaugural 'Buskers World Cup' and finished as a semi-finalist.
